My client is looking to hire an experienced Project Engineer due to impressive growth for their Illinois facility! This person will serve as a point of contact for critical customers, managing Engineering projects by leading teams of Engineers and Production workers to meet deadlines and project goals. Client Details My client is a privately held, fast-growing manufacturer of fabricated metal products, serving a variety of industries. They are forecasting amazing growth for their business, particularly for their automotive business, and because of that, they are adding experienced Engineers to their team to help them expand. Description Serve as a point of contact for customers, to determine feasibility of manufacturing, provide quotes/estimates, and maintain communication through the project life cycle. Utilize CAD skills to help develop product designs. Develop and execute project plans. Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule. Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure project objectives are met. Oversee all aspects of the project, including design, manufacturing, and delivery. Identify, analyze, and manage project risks. Conduct regular project reviews and generate progress reports. Ensure compliance with industrial standards and company policies. Manage project resources effectively and efficiently. Profile 3 years' experience in a similar Engineering role within Manufacturing. Background in automotive manufacturing is highly preferred. Knowledge of metal fabrication and/or stamping processes. Experience generating quotes for materials/projects. Proven project management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in relevant engineering software. Strong understanding of the industrial / manufacturing sector. Job Offer Base salary $85,000 - $110,000 depending on experience. 3 weeks PTO. Discretionary annual bonus incentive.
