Job Description:
Position Summary The Inside Sales Representative II position
combines aspects of inside sales with traditional customer service.
Inside Sales responsibilities include developing customer quotes,
qualifying leads, and monitoring opportunities while developing
business relationships with assigned customers. Customer service
responsibilities incorporates order maintenance, fielding customer
inquiries, and advocating for a customer within a manufacturing
environment. Combined, these responsibilities provide a customer
with a complete service experience Responsibilities · Enter sales
orders into the computer system and appropriately process special
order requests, expedites, reschedules, and credit holds as
necessary · Work within company ERP system to enter new customer
accounts; determine customer order status, product availability,
proper pricing and special discounts; process customer credits;
process price updates, and other tasks as required · Process
customer order cancellation requests, determine reason for
cancellation, review pertinent information with Marketing Manager
and follow up with agreed upon resolutions. · Process returned
goods, determine reason for return, issue returned material
authorization within established company guidelines as relating to
standard and non-standard products and schedule order replacements
and repairs as required. · Resolve returned goods discrepancies,
process credit memo for management approval and issue to customer.
· Work with customers, Regional Sales Managers, engineering,
production planners, and other internal personnel as required to
resolve order discrepancies and problems. · Respond to telephone
and e-mail inquiries from customers, distributors, Regional Sales
Managers and any other inbound inquiries on matters such as, order
status and problems, inventory availability, technical product
information, and any other type of special requests. · Collaborate
with Inside Sales Manager and Regional Sales Managers to support
customer and field requirements as required. · Collaborate with
Inside Sales Manager, Regional Sales Managers and engineering to
manage and process technical, sample and new product requests from
the field. · Work with Inside Sales Manager to process requests for
special pricing and new product pricing within specified guidelines
and submit to Sales and Marketing Manager. · Coordinate pertinent
information and data, such as forecasts, from customers and
Regional Sales Managers to assist appropriate internal personnel
with servicing customer needs. Position Qualifications – Skills and
Abilities · 3 years of inside sales or customer service experience.
· Very organized with ability to work independently. · Strong
typing skills. · Excellent phone skills and video conferencing
capabilities. · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products,
including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook. · Other
Requirements · Associates degree a plus. · Experience in providing
customer service from a manufacturing company is a plus · Ability
to learn about our products and provide technical support is a
plus. · Experience with an operating system such as Oracle EBS or
Syteline is a plus. · Experience with a CRM such as Salesforce is a
plus.
