This Inside Sales Associate I position focuses on capturing sales as a member of the Sales Capture Team who work directly with our channel partners and strategic sales contacts to facilitate timely and accurate response to sales opportunities, capturing new sales wins while maintaining and growing existing business. The team receives direct channel partners' special pricing requests daily, managing opportunities from sales pursuit to close. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for expanding sales revenue within channel partner accounts.
  • Support and execute marketing demand generation initiatives.
  • Utilize sales prospecting tools to assist sales management and teammates in demand generation sales programs.
  • Qualify marketing generated leads and identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Initiate and coordinate internal approvals with available resources, including sales teammates, to create and maintain competitive advantage throughout the sales process.
  • Develop and direct sales efforts to meet sales strategies and sales growth with existing clients and new client acquisitions.
  • Communicate product, pricing and program information to appropriate accounts and contacts.
  • Listen to customers' concerns. Provide direction and assistance to ensure resolution of customer issues involving sales, marketing, rebate claims, customer service, and technical support.
  • Communicate with customers through email, over the phone, or on social media.
  • Communicate and distribute allocation requests.
  • Collaborate with sales teammates to create better methods to address customer satisfaction and ease of doing business.
  • Refer customers to superiors when necessary.
  • Review customer accounts and transactions.
  • Communicate inventory levels & product shipment updates to accounts.
  • Ability to travel if needed.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent
    • Minimum two years' customer support or inside sales experience.
    • Experience with channel sales is a plus, preferably within the IT or audio visual (AV) market.
    • Demonstrated ability to grow sales within channel sales accounts.
    • Demonstrated strong customer service, sales and relationship building skills.
    • Proven strong organizational and verbal & written business communication skills.
    • Capacity to solve customer problems resourcefully within company policies.
    • Experience with Salesforce.com or other customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
    • Proficient with MS Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams. Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Less than 10% travel
    • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
