Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and
testing of refrigeration systems for our products. This position
requires extensive knowledge and experience in thermodynamics and
heat transfer engineering principles, as well as hands-on
experience with refrigeration system design, validation,
manufacturability, and troubleshooting. The successful candidate
will work closely with other engineers, project managers, and
cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on
time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
--- Lead the design, development, and testing of refrigeration
systems for our drinking water products
--- Develop and maintain technical specifications, design documents
and technical roadmaps for refrigeration systems (refrigerant to
water heat exchange)
--- Evaluate and select refrigeration system components and
materials for our products
--- Prepare DFMEAs and DVP&Rs to validate robust system
design
--- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product
development, testing, and quality assurance to ensure that
refrigeration systems meet product requirements and standards
--- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for refrigeration
system designs
--- Develop and implement testing and validation protocols for
refrigeration systems
--- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and
standards
--- Provide technical support and guidance to other team
members
Qualifications
--- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, or related field
--- Minimum of 8 years of experience in refrigeration
engineering
--- Strong knowledge of refrigeration, thermodynamics, and heat
transfer engineering principles
--- Hands-on experience with refrigeration system design,
validation, manufacturability, and troubleshooting.
--- Experience managing and mentoring a team of engineers and
technicians preferred
--- Strong project management skills, including experience managing
budgets, schedules, and resources
--- Experience with regulatory requirements and standards related
to refrigeration systems for drinking water products
--- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
--- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills required
--- Strong verbal and visual communication skills required
