Lovejoy, a business in the Timken family of brands, is looking to hire a sales analyst. The Sales Analyst plays a critical role in organizing and analyzing internal and external data to develop new and impactful insights to increase revenue and profit and improve the customer experience. This critical position leads analytic projects, assigned by management targeted at developing new insights and understanding which can help with strategy, process improvements, and decision making. In addition, this position maintains, executes, and updates key business processes, including the quoting process. This fast-paced position will also engage cross functionally to support critical elements of our customer strategy and develop / execute data analytics projects to support understanding, enhancing, and optimizing the customer experience. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support project for replacing Lovejoy's quote management system
  • Sales Reporting
  • Communicate overall sales performance via monthly and adhoc reporting to sales management and internal and external partners such (MPTA, etc), using BI, Trueload, COGS and CRM reports.
  • Develop reporting dashboard for sales management
  • Implement customer service reprepresentative and sales reprepresentative assignments in SAP as territories change
  • Audit customer experience
  • Customer Service/Engineering
  • Quotes
  • Document track, and communicate status of all open quotes
  • Score process based on timing
  • Orders
  • Run Incomplete Order Reports
  • Run Open Order Reports
  • Score process based on response times
  • Support marketing in audit of digital experience/tools, measure usage, top page views, identify abandon points and assess (CAD leads, configurator, web sites, digital catalogs, Direct industry, key distributor web sites, etc.)
  • PPIF - make recommendations on what parts to add/remove
  • Audit CMIRS - run report to determine CMIR usage, identify any new parts to add to CMIR
  • Audit Contracts - run report to determine frequency of contract items purchased
  • Audit DACMS - evaluate DACMS performance and make recommendations for non-renewals, consolidating agreements, breaking down agreements into more strategic customer segments
  • Audit Growth Incentive Plan effectiveness
  • CRM Reports - as defined by sales management
  • Audit PTPlace - product mix; identify good targets to move to PTplace based on criteria set by management TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
    • High proficiency in excel, Business Intelligence (BI), and general understanding of relational data models
    • Attention to detail
    • Self-motivated
    • Excellent verbal and written communication - communication through graphics BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
      • Bachelor's degree or 7 years equivalent experience is required; business data related field such as economics, finance, accounting, statistics or comparable
      • Minimum of 2 years experience with excel, BI, CRM and SAP; 7 years of experience is preferred All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.
