Job Description:
As a member of the Performance Advisory Office department,
manages complex strategic projects or engagements or may lead
execution of portions of complex projects or engagements. Develops
project work plans and related performance metrics to ensure all
project activities are executed against established timelines and
budgets. Uses accepted process improvement or project management
methodologies and effective management of internal/external
resources assigned to complete integration and optimization
activities.Works effectively in complex environments containing
value conflicts and uncertainties.. Shares views with others,
expressing own ideas and thoughts clearly and openly while also
being prepared to listen to other, differing, views before reaching
conclusions. May use professional network to seek contributions
from others. Changes management processes and tools to create a
strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project
or initiative. Gathers, records and analyses data and information
through ordered and logical processes and translates data into
useable output. In assignments uses own knowledge to contribute
within a project team. Uses a variety of data gathering, problem
solving and analytical techniques that take into account client and
own values and objectives and the type of recommendations to be
made. Evaluates tools and techniques against validity criteria and
uses them to obtain best data, information or knowledge available,
within budgetary or organizational constraints.Demonstrates
knowledge and understanding of the variety of styles, skills and
techniques that are appropriate to the context in which the
coaching takes place. Uses presentation tools and techniques
effectively. Manages group processes to achieve desired outcomes,
using facilitation tools and techniques to maximize the group's
decision-making potential. Manages client assignments successfully,
ensuring that objectives, deadlines and budgets are agreed and
delivered on time. Demonstrates competent use of planning tools and
techniques, and sets milestones appropriate for the size and scale
of the assignment. Shows flexibility and adaptability to changing
demands and deadlines.Identify possible changes needed to
productivity/labor management system. Works with operational
leaders to address important decisions while uncovering further
success factors.Scheduled Hours8am-5pm M-F is typical. Remote work

ExperienceTypically requires 5 years of experience in healthcare
payer or provider operations.Knowledge, Skills &
AbilitiesDemonstrated leadership abilities and ability to relate to
staff and to motivate, instruct, guide, assign, advise and mentor
project teams.Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of
project and program management methodologies and tools.Advanced
computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong written and oral
communication skills with demonstrated ability to concisely
communicate with key leaders. Ability to establish goals,
milestones and priorities, ensuring team members understand work
assignments and in communicating project status, risks and issues
to management.Highly motivated, organized, self-starter with a
focus on delivery of key project objectives with the ability to
work through the challenges associated with large complex projects.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and evidence of being a
strong team player. Possesses a strong orientation toward
innovation and new ideas. Strong facilitation and persuasion skills
with ability to influence peers, superiors and sub-ordinates.
Capable of influencing project team members to achieve goals
associated with successful project delivery.
