This position provides leadership to the central payroll function serving more than 3000 employees. In this role you will oversee the auditing and processing of a multi-state biweekly payroll and lead projects to drive process improvement, organizational efficiency and effectiveness, and resource optimization. Such as payroll software, employee records, and timekeeping software and responsible for overall system performance and maintenance, including ensuring information security, testing updates, and improving process efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with IT and HR teams to analyze all HRIS requirements and develop and implement various HRIS procedures and prepare customized reports for various finance and payroll teams.
  • Create all custom ad hoc reports and resolve all queries, ensure accuracy, and provide upgrades if required and monitor HRIS systems and maintain integrity of all data.
  • Assist with designing and maintains all codes and tables and prepare reports for all HR systems and applications. Analyze systems to resolve all issues and escalate all customer issues to management to provide efficient resolution for same.
  • May prepare all documents for all system configurations and processes and prepare required course materials for all employees and analyze customer requirement to prepare required dashboards and metrics.
  • Responsible for performing tests on all software integrations and perform troubleshoot on all technical processes, prepare required database, and provide support to all HRIS reports.
  • Evaluate all required documents such as hiring and termination of all employees and associate compensation plans. Performs audit on all human resource payrolls to resolve all issues. Prepare all required training documents.
  • Execute all internal processes and perform audit on same and ensure integrity of all systems and collaborate with functional users to develop all business processes for various human resources systems and provide support to all associate activities.
  • Analyze all human resource data and recommend appropriate solutions to all production issues and analyze all data according to IT specifications and participate in all system tests to ensure compatibility of production design into functional design.
  • Manage and provide response to all HRIS issues and ensure compliance to timeframe and provide efficient feedback to all system enhancements. Provide training for all annual system processes.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforces adherence to requirements and appropriate communication to management.
  • Responsible for training creating the appropriate user documentation and procedures. Assists in training users on the updated functionality.
  • Assists with M&A system related activities. Qualifications Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor-- - -s degree and seven more years of experience in HRMS, HRIS and/or HCM services with two years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience.
    • Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
    • Prior exposure to system/ functionality launch is a plus.Strong understanding of HR processes and data including workflows and data flowsUnderstanding of HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases toolsKnowledge of HR and Payroll processes and terminology Competencies:
      • Capable of strategic thinking with a proven track record of independent working; and positively collaborating, influencing, and coordinating with stakeholders.
      • High drive for results, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
