Job SummaryThe Campus Application Specialist provides support for
key campus applications , including Jenzabar One family of products
(our ERP) and Canvas (our Learning Management System) . Th is
position requires cross-departmental collaboration , translating
user needs into practical, sustainable software solutions.
Position Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide expertise to campus departments and end users of
assigned applications
- Develop reports utilizing system data, demonstrating care and
accuracy
- Research, recommend, and implement best practice guidelines for
technology usage campus-wide
- Maintain & develop campus integrations, data extracts, and data
imports
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support for LMS related issues and
other issues assigned
- Work with vendor support teams to resolve product issues
- Collaborate with Academic Affairs to support faculty needs
- Maintain a customer-service oriented attitude working across
campus departments
- Assist in development of campus data standards to ease future
reporting
- Develop technical & end user documentation for report
development, data locations, and requests
- Maintains proficiency & awareness of data and functionality in
core campus applications
- Research and review technical documentation to find
solutions
- Working in a collaborative team environment
- Additional duties as assignedExperience and Qualifications
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software at depth
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills in a
training or support setting
- Comfort developing and delivering training to small and large
groups
- Prefer experience with LMS and other educational
technologies
- Experience writing SQL SELECT statements, including UNIONs,
JOINs (of multiple types) and subqueries where appropriate
- Experience with PowerShell scripting
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related
fieldWorking Conditions / Special Requirements

the students, faculty, staff and business of the department and the
University.
- This position may require lifting up to 50 lbs, as well as
bending, stooping, kneeling.
