As an Operating Room Liaison, youll be responsible for building important relationships between the sterile processing department, the operating room staff, and facility administrators. Youll be the go-to person, making sure everything is in place for every surgery and solving any problem that could arise, whether its a missing or dirty instrument or a scheduling mishap.*Key Responsibilities:* *Case Flow Management:* Track case flow and notify the Sterile Processing Department of additional needs. *Instrument Coordination:* Coordinate instrument turnarounds and communicate with the surgical team. *Tray Accuracy:* Review surgical trays for accuracy and resolve discrepancies. *Data Analysis:* Perform data analysis to identify operational issues. *Instrumentation Maintenance:* Assist in cleaning and maintaining instrumentation.*Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed:* *Education:* High School Diploma or GED required.* *Experience:* *1 year of experience* in a Sterile Processing, Surgical Technology, or Operating Room Technician role *with an Associates Degree **OR**2 years of experience* in a Sterile Processing, Surgical Technology, or Operating Room Technician role *without an Associates Degree*. *Skills:* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and smartphone usage, Knowledge of OR workflow, procedures, medical terminology, and infection control, Strong communication and analytical skills, Ability to multi-task, plan, and organize effectively. *Certification: *Certification in a related field or ability to obtain within 12 months.*Why Join STERIS?* *Impactful Work:* Contribute to creating a healthier and safer world. *Growth Opportunities:* Continuous learning and development through training and educational offerings. *Collaborative Environment:* Work with a dedicated team committed to excellence and innovation.Apply now and join a team that values your skills and dedication.
