Material Handler

Job Description:

The Material Handler will be responsible for handling materials to maximize preparation and effective delivery and inventoried receipt of materials.

¿Ability to perform tasks associated with the receipt, storage, shipment and fabrication of product and materials :

Picking / packing / shipping of order / cycle count material

unload / load trailers

High School Diploma or GED required.

Must be forklift certified or have the ability to become a certified forklift operator within 3 months.

Other Duties Assigned:

Complete transactions related to In/Out-bound process

Support Shipping and Receiving Department, monitoring material and supply inventory

Plan, organize and monitor the receiving, storage and distribution of all items received from vendors

Assists with ship confirms and freight carrier scheduling as required.

Perform additional customer service requirements as necessary.

Perform accurate and timely physical counts related to warehouse productivity and inventory.

Adhere to and enforce basic housekeeping standards, safe operating procedures; e.g. OSHA, PPE, etc. and basic building maintenance

Capability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.

Willingness to be used in other areas of warehouse, as management requires.
