Job Description:
Zachry Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner who has
experience and skill sets to perform workforce planning, sourcing,
recruiting, hiring, and retaining efforts for engineering and
technical positions. Position is based in either Pasadena, Texas,
San Antonio, Texas, or Downers Grove, Illinois.
RESPOSIBILITIES:
Manage and facilitate the full life-cycle talent acquisition
process through collaboration and partnering with internal and
external stakeholders
Partner with key internal stakeholders to proactively understand
Talent Acquisition needs for current and upcoming demand.
Develop detailed job descriptions and screening questions specific
to positions based on scope of work to be performed
Proactively source and maintain a pipeline of both internal and
external candidates
Identify innovative ways to source and attract quality candidates
with design and engineering experience in process, mechanical,
civil, structural, architectural, piping, instrumentation,
controls, and electrical.
Screen candidates to ensure qualification for positions to be
filled from entry level to senior level.
Maintain organized calendar for scheduling interviews, onboarding
process and start day orientations
Recruit and make contingent offers of employment to qualified
candidates in a technical and high demand environment
Effectively communicate and negotiate all pieces of an offer
package
Update and maintain the Applicant Tracking System and other
reporting platforms in real time with candidate information
Generate and provide reports to internal and external customers to
communicate and consult on Talent Acquisition key performance
indicators, strategic sourcing efforts, labor, and wage analysis,
etc.
Attend job fairs and other industry events to build brand awareness
and attract talent
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
Complete all tasks and responsibilities within the parameters of
provided policies and procedures in addition to state and federal
law
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5+ years' experience managing full-cycle recruitment
process for industrial projects that provide engineering,
procurement, and construction services to clients
High School Diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated corporate and/or staffing agency experience with
direct and contract hiring
Demonstrated sourcing and recruiting experience across industrial
markets that include Energy and Chemicals, Power, Food and
Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Packaged Goods, and other
diversified markets.
Detail oriented and exceptional organizational skills
Sensitive and compliant with confidential information
Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Meet deadlines while working under time constraints
Strong computer skills and demonstrated ability with the Microsoft
Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
Ability to effectively manage expectations of internal and external
stakeholders
Communicate and set expectations with hiring managers to help drive
results, build credibility, and educate on the labor market.
Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to
communicate with different levels of the organization including our
client
Ability to work independently and collectively as a team
Able to travel as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related
field
Related industrial construction experience
Bi-Lingual in Spanish
PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP Certification
Experience in: Administration or Customer Service
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone,
email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger
dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and
comprehension. Position assignment will be based on construction
sites and industrial facilities requiring mobility (on ground and
at heights) and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear
plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and work
boots. May be required to lift, carry and move objects safely.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Employee will work in multiple environments including an office,
warehouse and in a trailer or building on construction sites. On
construction sites noise levels will be moderate to high. Job site
will contain: light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large
equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people
standing, walking, sitting, signaling and talking, bells whistles
and alarms. Weather conditions ranging from warm/hot - cool/cold
and occasional rain. May be required to work in close, confined
spaces or in different elevations for a long period of time. Noise
levels will be moderate to high.
