Job Description The primary purpose of the Account Executive is to meet and exceed an overall revenue goal. In order to achieve this goal, the Account Executive must create and execute a territory business plan that generates at least 4x their revenue quota in pipeline opportunity. The Regional Account Executive is responsible to identify and qualify those opportunities, and to develop and drive a strategy that articulates the Corcentric value proposition. The position requires daily activities that include cold calling (via phone, e-mail and in-person), along with a consistent level of customer-facing meetings. Candidates must demonstrate a disciplined approached toward new business development, with proven success in initiating, managing and closing significant opportunities. Candidates should possess a Hunter-Challenger mentality and be able to negotiate complex sales by coordinating with and appropriately leveraging multiple client stakeholders and navigating across multiple job levels and functional areas. To be fully successful, the role requires previous experience positioning and selling enterprise and Cloud-based software solutions that required some level of business process re-engineering in the financial or accounting domains. Responsibilities Identifying, developing, and managing relationships within our target market segment which includes but is not limited to Mid-Market and large enterprise accounts within Fortune 1000 segment Managing and growing the Corcentric footprint in a defined region through active prospecting and networking Managing pipeline and forecast Demonstrate the ability to close contracts beneficial to Corcentric and our customers Create, adapt, and execute a business model that is in sync with company goals Manage complex sales-cycles Work in collaboration with Business Development Representatives and Solution Consultants Meet and exceed sales quotas Requirements Essential 5- 10 years of technical sales experience, preferably selling financial process solutions in a SaaS or Enterprise environment Proven business development success turning cold accounts into existing customers Demonstrated ability to exceed quarterly and annual sales goals by consistently closing deals through effective negotiations and deal management Hunter-Challenger type personality, combined with board room presence and C-level presentation skills Demonstrated ability to manage all phases of a complex sale Previous formalized training in strategic sales, solution selling and/or process-oriented sales approach Strong intellectual skills, with a high level of enthusiasm for problem solving and analysis Desired Project management experience Collaboration skills Customer/client focus Flexible and entrepreneurial Ability to travel up to 50% of the time Sound MS Office and Internet skills and the ability to learn new software and applications Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
