Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for the overall operations of multiple branches, ensuring that all services are delivered in a safe, efficient and effective manner, in accordance with established quality standards, and applicable State and Federal regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Responsible for the supervision, management and professional development of the State and Agency Directors in the established territory
  • Leads efforts to achieve direct care and administrative recruitment and retention goals in the branch offices
  • Monitors key branch performance and client service indicators and metrics, and implements required corrective actions to resolve problems and ensure all service quality and efficiency objectives are met
  • Develops and implements the region's objectives, strategies and initiatives for client census/revenue growth and business development
  • Monitors and reports on local, State and Federal legislation that may impact branch operations or financial performance
  • Directs and participates in the design and execution of Value Based Care arrangements in the established territory
  • Directs and participates in the design and execution of outreach programs to promote the region's in-home services and expand its client and employee base
  • Directs and participates in the region's efforts to develop effective relationships with state and county referral agencies, and maintain personal contacts with large contracts
  • Participates in national and regional home care industry organizations to follow trends and developments, and identify potential business opportunities
  • Provides direction, guidance and support to the region's Agency Directors in managing the branches' administrative functions, and assist in resolving any employee relations, payroll, accounting/billing, client issues, regulatory compliance or related matters
  • Ensures compliance with contract specifications, Company policies and State and Federal regulations by providing direction and guidance to the Agency Directors in developing and implementing timely and effective plans of correction to address any identified deficiencies
  • Develops and prepares the branch annual budgets
  • Monitors the branches' performance against established census/revenue, expense and financial targets, and directs the implementation of appropriate corrective actions to address problem areas and/or negative trends
  • Manages positive working relationships with Union partners representing Home Care Aide employees
  • Leads negotiations of local collective bargaining agreements
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
  • Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
  • Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements
  • Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Social Services, Public Administration, or a related field of study Bachelor's Degree in Business, Social Services, Public Administration, or a related field of study. Master's Degree Preferred.
  • 10-15 years' experience in Home & Community based services, Home Health, Private Duty or Assisted Living is required
  • Demonstrated progressive supervisory and management experience in a large, fast-paced, results-driven, organization
  • Management experience in a multi-site/multi-state region is desired
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and develop business through a managed sales and marketing effort
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), team building, coaching/mentoring and interpersonal skills
  • Self-confident, visionary leadership
  • Passionate, energetic, tenacious and resolute, with a high sense of urgency and a strong drive to produce results
