PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP North America Regional COE is responsible for demand generation and sales support to revenues for both SAP S/4HANA and the SAP Office of the CFO solutions for organizations in North America. These solutions cover the business needs of Chief Finance Officers (CFOs) and other senior finance executives at our customers.

We are looking for an experienced senior level employee with executive level experience to engage with our customers' senior executives whereby you will articulate the business value of the SAP S/4HANA Intelligent ERP solution. SAP S/4HANA enables companies to capture every opportunity in today's digital world by removing common obstacles associated with legacy ERP applications, such as batch latency, complex landscapes, and manually-driven processes.

Secondly, the employee is responsible for presenting the business value of the SAP Office of the CFO solutions for Finance including:

Accounting, Financial Close & Task Management

Treasury & Cash Management

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

Real Estate Management

Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk & Compliance

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Engage directly with senior executives within SAP Strategic customer program, Key and large enterprise accounts to drive sales of SAP's Office of the CFO solutions and SAP S/4HANA, both on-premise & cloud deployments
  • Drive "lighthouse" transformation engagements with select customers to showcase SAP S/4HANA capabilities
  • Engage with key ecosystem partners (Accenture, Deloitte, E&Y, PwC etc.) to educate their consultants on SAP Office of the CFO solutions and SAP S/4HANA capabilities and engage them into marketing campaigns and sales cycles
  • Drive in-region market awareness of SAP Office of the CFO solutions including SAP S/4HANA capabilities to support all lines of businesses including activities such as presentations at events, engagement with partners, thought leadership activities (e.g. blogs, white papers etc.)
  • Support ad-hoc sales opportunities that require senior executive engagement to support the sales cycle
  • Become part of a global network of COEs, building and sharing knowledge on successful demand generation, customer success stories and potential product and market evolutions
  • Work in conjunction with regional / MU sales organizations, as well as partners, solution management, value engineering, consulting, services and support to support lighthouse customer success cases
  • Present SAP Office of the CFO and SAP S/4HANA solution capabilities, value proposition, key differentiators at senior executive levels and large audiences
  • Internal enablement to support the sales teams understanding of how SAP Office of the CFO solutions and SAP S/4HANA become the Digital Core and how those solutions support both finance and Digital Transformation
  • Prepare Executive summary "point of view" documents that align solution benefits to customer strategic goals as well as serve to illustrate potential ROI with an investment in SAP Office of the CFO solutions
  • Work with regional VAT to maintain a rolling 4Q, 4x pipeline

Work Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Professional experience with large, multi-national software/IT organizations and with a demonstrated expertise in SAP Office of the CFO solutions, SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA.
  • 10+ years of prior relevant solutions experience in presales or consulting or working directly at a customer and supporting SAP environments, especially with solving complex finance requirements
  • Viewed as solutions expert across SAP and / or partner communities and capable of leveraging an extensive network on behalf of SAP resulting in pipeline and revenue growth
  • Understanding of differently deployment methodologies including on-premise and cloud
  • Proven track record of success
  • Strong customer facing experience at executive levels
  • Strong presentation skills

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION

MBA or equivalent degree from accredited university preferred

Fluency in English, any other language an asset
