Job Summary: The Mail Operator is responsible for all aspects of fulfillment related to client mail production. Operators must read and understand the job instructions and ensure the use of correct materials. They are also responsible for identifying and escalating any potential issues which lead to inaccurate or otherwise inaccurate mailing.Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prepare projects for printing and mail insertion
• Setup, insert and prepare mailings for delivery to USPS
• Verify job contents and counts
• Tray and palletize mail
• Set and apply the correct postage rates for mail
• Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Ability to operate, setup and program AUI Computer systems
  • Experience with the operator adjustments required to operate inserting/mailing machines a plus
  • Working knowledge of Postal regulations as they apply to presorted mail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced processing environment and adhere to deadlines
  • Flexibility with hours, some Saturday work may be required
  • Must have dependable transportation and clean valid driver license to work at our site
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to process, comprehend d and follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift and move heavy materials (about 30-35 pounds)
  • Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated, and work independently
  • Experience operating Bell & Howell/Sensible Technologies Inserters and Pitney Bowes postal meters preferred, but not required
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Must be able to pass drug screen, E-Verify, and background checkPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 35 pounds.
