Conduct thorough legal research and develop effective litigation strategies. 2. Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. 3. Take and defend depositions and engage in written discovery. 4. Represent clients in court, demonstrating strong oral advocacy skills. 5. Handle complex litigation cases, including civil litigation, tort, product liability, premises liability, employment law, medical negligence, class action, mass tort, and civil rights. 6. Prepare for trial, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and developing case strategy. 7. Maintain professional relationships with clients, providing them with regular case updates and legal advice. 8. Stay updated with the latest legal trends and regulations related to our practice areas. 9. Collaborate with team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Attorney position will have: 1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney, preferably in the areas mentioned above. 3. Admission to the Illinois Bar. 4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills. 5. Proven experience with depositions, written discovery, motion practices, pleadings, and trial preparation. 6. Strong oral advocacy skills and experience in civil litigation and complex litigation. 7. Knowledge and experience in tort, product liability, premises liability, employment law, medical negligence, class action, mass tort, and civil rights. 8. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook. 9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and team members. 10.
