Job Description:
Job Description The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible
for coordinating and performing company payroll, benefits, talent
acquisition and HR support functions in compliance with federal and
state regulations and company policies. The Human Resources
Coordinator will focus on payroll processing, benefits
administration, recruiting and supporting the HR Department through
various other tasks. This individual must have a strong sense of
urgency and be capable of adapting to change with the ability to
succeed in a fast-paced environment. Job Description and
Responsibilities Human Resources Support Manage printed and
electronic employee records, including personnel, benefits files,
and payroll records. Maintain the utmost confidentiality and
privacy for employee records. Respond to audit requests for
employee records and generate end-year, HR Metric reports. Provide
professional support to HR activities and complete special projects
as assigned. Support HR Department by providing administrative
services, adhering to corporate policies, local handbook and
seeking additional HR guidance as needed. Ensure all processes,
including forms and approvals, are followed. Provide excellent
customer service to all employees; be proactive in anticipating
needs, go beyond expectations and deliver excellent results.
Respond to questions/inquiries in a timely, appropriate manner.
Payroll Administration Manage the payroll processing for monthly
(expat) employees, biweekly (non-exempt and exempt) employees, on a
pre-scheduled basis. Process annual awards payroll and additional
special payrolls as needed. Process employee payroll changes in a
timely manner, including salary adjustments, position changes,
status changes, email/computer access, terminations, etc. Manage
and ensure proper payroll deductions for insurance benefits, health
savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, retirement
contributions, garnishments, taxes etc. Benefits Management
Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan
provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general
inquiries. Lead the open enrollment process including but not
limited to preparing census reports, creating materials,
establishing the profile in ADP Workforce Now, employee
communications, approving changes, etc. Function as a liaison
between vendors and employees and advises employee on eligibility,
coverage, and other benefits matters Verify the calculation of the
monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and
maintain statistical data relative to premiums, claims and costs.
Resolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives.
Talent Acquisition/Recruiting Responsible for forecasting hiring
needs, sourcing potential hires on various online channels,
building relationships with passive candidates and hiring managers
and evaluating candidates--- performance in interviews and
assignments. Assess candidate information by filtering resumes,
effectively using our Applicant Tracking System and job boards,
scheduling interviews, determining selection procedures through
screening calls and conducting in-person interviews. Communicate
regularly with HR department and hiring managers to get a clear
view of company---s hiring needs and organizational goals Job
Qualifications, Education and Experience: Associate degree in HR or
related field, but experience and/or other training/certification
may be substituted for the education, OR Bachelor---s degree in
human resources or related field of study. Two years--- experience
in HR and/or benefits administration. Required Skills, Knowledge,
and Abilities Experience with ADP Workforce Now highly desirable
High computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability
to use Microsoft products, including excel; experience with HRIS
and benefits databases. Impeccable attention to detail with strong
organizational skills Exceptional communication skills,
professional presence, and strong work ethic. Excellent
interpersonal and technical support skills. Effective team player
with ability to work independently Familiarity with human resource
policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational
needs and goals Ability to work well under pressure and maintain
utmost confidentiality in all forms Strong analytical,
problem-solving skills and a thorough knowledge of benefit plan
designs. Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations,
filing and compliance requirements, employee benefits programs,
including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers'
compensation, Medicare, COBRA, and Social Security and DOL
requirements
