In this role, you will be integral to ensuring the smooth operation and logistics of our extensive property portfolio, focusing on safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation solutions. This position requires strategic delivery planning, precise execution, and adherence to all safety and regulatory standards to support our operations and service commitments across the region. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials to various destinations within the designated region Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, adhering to compliance with company policies and legal requirements Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, perform preventative maintenance Document and log work/rest periods, maintain trip records and comply with state and federal regulations Coordinate with the logistics team to optimize loads and schedules Manage paperwork related to deliveries, including bills of lading and inventory checks Proven work experience as a truck driver Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required No serious tickets or accidents in the last 5 years No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years
