Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Harvey, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,046 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Harvey, Illinois, 60426! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an urban, Level I Trauma Emergency Department required. License: Must have a valid RN license in hand. Certifications: Must have BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS. Preferred certifications include TNCC, CPI. Must-Have: Prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma Emergency Department is required. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room specialty. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4. Experience in a teaching hospital is preferred. Candidates with less than 2 years of experience are accepted. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Floating to other areas is required. Strong triage skills and experience with high-acuity patients are essential. The ability to manage a range of emergency conditions is required. Skills include administration of emergency medications and patient monitoring. The unit provides care to a diverse patient population across different age groups. Interdisciplinary support is available from various departments.
