Current and valid CBRF certification, preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) First Aid certification within 6 months of hire or within 2 years of your initial CBRF First Aid & Choking certification class. (AHA First Aid certification is valid for 2 years and then must be renewed) Required to become med delegated upon hire and be able to pass meds. Ability to use computers for charting and communication. Ability to work independently and make decisions within set guidelines. What you'll do as a Resident Assistant: Assists with dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, and ambulation to encourage independence, according to resident service plan and established procedures Assists with homemaker tasks including laundry, housekeeping, meal preparation and serving Planning and conducting therapeutic activities. Supervise self-administration or administer medications by physician order.
