Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
Facility: Silver Cross Hospital Location: 1900 Silver Cross Blvd,
New Lenox, IL Start Date: 07/07/2025 Duration: 12 weeks Openings: 1
position Shift: 12-hour days (36 hours/week guaranteed)
Weekend/On-Call: Schedule TBD by facility &129504;
Responsibilities Assess and plan care for patients’ physiological,
emotional, and spiritual needs Lead and supervise nursing staff in
executing care plans Conduct evaluations, document progress, and
manage discharge planning Provide care for open-heart, thoracic,
vascular, and interventional cases &128203; Submission
Requirements ~ Experience: ~2 years current CVICU experience ~
Open-heart experience required ~ Thoracic, vascular, interventional
experience preferred Licensure & Certifications: Active Illinois RN
license (must be submitted with profile) ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA) –
active at time of submission COVID & Flu vaccination required (no
declinations accepted) Other: Cerner EMR experience strongly
preferred Resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), 2 supervisory
references COVID card/status must be included &127976; Facility
