Contract: 13 weeks with a possible extension, depending on need Location: Oak Lawn Illinois 60453 Shift: 10hr Day Shift (40) Shift Information: Monday - Thursday On Call, Call Back Requirements: call required Weekend Rotation: every 4th weekend Holiday Requirements: holidays required Floating Requirements: No Patient Service Area (PSA) DNU: South Chicagoland JOB DESCRIPTION - General Information - Beds: 28 (2 hybrid rooms for CV/Vascular) - 60-75 cases/day - Experience: - IR Hybrid Tech: 3 years of hybrid experience - First Time Traveler: Yes, with acute care experience - Patient Types: Outpatient/Inpatient/Trauma - GSW, stabbings, transplant (kidney, hearts), donor cases, general, gyn, urology, robotic, vascular, ortho, neuro - Hybrid Room: sees between 5-10 cases/day depending on what cases are scheduled; adults only. TAVR, AAA, Endarterectomies, angiograms, fistula revisions - 20% Pediatric (appy, choley) - No liver or lung transplant - Participates in Gifts of Hope cases - Patient Ratios: 1:1 - Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT - Skills required: Need to have experience in above hybrid patient types, cath lab experience is required. - Support on Unit: - Charge nurse: no patient assignment (M-F) able to assist on weekends and evenings - Bedside monitoring by anesthesiologist - Resource Nurse - Surgeons (have preference cards) - ANM - Educators - Service line reps - EPIC super-user - Charting System/Equipment: Siemens equipment experience required - Scrub Color: Provided - Parking: Free 7167 About MARS Solutions Group At MARS Healthcare, we redefine excellence in healthcare staffing solutions.
