Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:Surgical Technologist - Discipline:Allied Health Professional - Start Date:07/14/2025 - Duration:13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift:8 hours, evenings - Employment Type:Travel Job Title:Surgical Technician – Neuro/ENT Location:Milwaukee, WI 53215 Contract Duration:13 Weeks(July 14, 2025 – October 11, 2025) Shift:8-hour Evening Shift (11:00 AM – 7:30 PM) Schedule:Monday – Friday; Weekends and On-Call rotation required 40 hours/week Facility:Level III Trauma Center, Magnet Designated Specialty:Surgical Tech – Neuro/ENT focus Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Surgical Technician with a strong background in Neuro and ENT procedures. Must have experience in craniotomy, spine surgeries, and EVD setup. The facility requires independent and skilled professionals familiar with a high-acuity surgical environment. Job Duties: - Assist in surgical procedures primarily within the Neuro and ENT specialties - Setup and assist in Crani cases, Spine surgeries, and EVDs - Ensure equipment calibration and sterile field maintenance - Collaborate with OR team including charge nurses, leads, and supervisors - Utilize EPIC for charting, and equipment such as Pyxis and Alaris - Adhere to aseptic techniques and surgical protocols - Participate in required on-call rotations and weekend schedules - Follow hospital protocols for scrub wear and professional conduct Job Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Tech experience in Neuro/ENT • Proficient in Craniotomy, EVD setup, and Spine surgeries • BLS certification (must be current) • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced OR settings • Experience with EPIC, Pyxis, and Alaris systems • Not recommended for first-time travelers Additional Details: •Floating:Cross-trained to all Main OR specialties and Urology center (no floating to other hospitals) •On-call:Required – 30 min response time; EOS, evening, and overnight slots; 1–2 weekends/month •Holiday Call:Required – Options to work 4x10hr during holiday weeks or take unpaid holiday time •Orientation:1 to 1.5 weeks depending on team/shift (subject to change) •Work Hours Policy:Variable start times may apply; weekends and on-call duties are mandatory •Scrubs:Provided by facility; bouffant must cover personal caps •Parking:Free (PMs in attached lot; AMs walk 2 blocks) •Food:Onsite cafeteria and Starbucks MARS Solutions Group Job ID 7692.
