The National Account Manager will be responsible for the impact and development of national specifications, and the on-boarding and development of MRO national channels. The position will work with the Director and key members of the sales and digital teams to develop and implement our national impact strategy. Successful implementation will result in stronger national specifications, increased service to our national customers, and a greater overall market penetration across all Zurn Elkay product divisions.ResponsibilitiesEstablish key relationships with leading accounts in the Omnichannel go to market; MRO & Hardware works with the merchandising managers for each of the Hardware accounts, Ace, Do It Best, Orgill, True Value, House Hasson, on pricing, new product proposals, product presentations and trade show preparation and attendance. This position works with our independent rep agency E.A. Langenfeld' s office personnel to make sure that orders and shipments are flowing to the hardware accounts without penalties of fines for late or short shipments.

  • Create product demand and Brand preference with these identified accounts.
    • strategies, price management, product conversion initiatives and marketing opportunities.
    • Create and manage a pipeline of opportunities and deliver profitable sales targets established annually.
    • Involvement in strategic action plans across different functional groups
    • Implement Zurn Elkay ZEBS core competencies in daily work along with "80/20" strategies.
    • Drive new and strategic product sales. Effectively gain acceptance of these products among accounts.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of all Zurn Elkay divisions and provide feedback on how to help impact our customers in a positive manner.
    • Provide any necessary feedback to product management, commercial sales and marketing with latest market trend information.
    • Provide support to the Commercial Sales Team and Rep Agencies as needed.
    • Participate in relationship building Industry events, trade shows, associations, affiliations etc.Capabilities and Success Factors

        • BS degree and experience with an emphasis in a technical or marketing field required.
        • Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in the plumbing industry and related markets.
        • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) are required including a demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment.
        • Self motivated, dependable, and ethically driven individual.
        • Ability to manage multiple projects and commitments.
        • Drive to execute strategies that are customer centric and market based.
        • Solid organizational/planning skills.
        • Candidates should possess a strong working knowledge of PC- based computing and Microsoft Office products.
