Job Description: - Downers Grove family is seeking a full-time nanny manager for -their family of 4. Family is seeking someone proactive, adaptable, and reliable. -Flexible start date.Schedule: Guaranteed 35 hours per week. M-Th 11am-6pm, Friday 9am - 4pmCompensation: $25-$30/hr.+ PTO, holidays, vacation time. Opportunity for a monthly healthcare stipend if needed. -Job Details and requirements:

• Two parents and two teenage girls. Both girls are enrolled in full-time school and have after-school commitments.One parent works from home full-time, the other works from home part-time. Candidate should be comfortable with this arrangement.Family has a pet bird. No care is required but candidate should not have allergies
• On occasion, nanny manager may be asked to stay overnight when parents need to travel for work. Advanced notice will be given.During the school day, house manager tasks will be expected: errands, coordinating home repairs/contractors, managing family calendar, planning travel, personal assistant tasks
• Nanny manager should be adept at organization and light tidying.
• Candidate will be responsible for weekly grocery shopping and basic meal planning/meal prep.
• After school, nanny manager will pick up teenagers and drive to any activities/appointments. Nanny manager must be comfortable with teenagers and build a relationship with both.Candidate should be proactive and find what needs to be done.
• Personal assistant work as time permits. - May include scheduling, maintaining office supplies, expense tracking, proofreading, data management.
• Family employs a housekeeper. Nanny manager should be comfortable working alongside other staff.Qualifications:
  • Nanny manager should have applicable experience and looking for a long-term fit.
  • Flexible and adaptable. - Enjoys being challenged and doing new things.
  • Schedule oriented and organized.
  • Strong communication skills.
