ICS Associate Director University Recruiting Position Summary /
Job Description: The Associate Director of University Recruiting
reports directly to the Director of University Recruiting and will
be responsible for providing vision, leadership, planning and
execution of regional talent acquisition strategy, operations and
national service line strategies. This individual is responsible
for developing, communicating, implementing, and improving regional
and national university recruiting strategies. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities / Core Responsibilities:
- Lead a talented team of recruiters and engage with them at a
high level to understand their obstacles and challenges.
- Collaborate with hiring managers, senior leaders, and key
business stakeholders to understand the needs of the service lines
and drive cross-collaboration initiatives, while developing
effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in pools
of exceptional candidates.
- Work as part of a talent acquisition leadership team locally
(US) and globally to identify ongoing talent development needs and
process/efficiency improvements as well as innovative ideas to
ensure we are a premier recruiting organization.
- Develop strategic partnerships with professional organizations,
colleges/universities, and offer insight into creative techniques
to increase the diversity of applicant pools and reduce the cost
and time to hire.
- Assist with the design, implementation, and management of
internship programs for high-potential candidates virtually and/or
in-person.
- Work in partnership with teams and resources to establish
university and event strategy, while remaining well-managed through
the use of data and metrics.
- Provide guidance in decision-making by using data and analytics
to influence business decisions to support the corporate
strategy.
- Oversee the management of the hiring process from initial
outreach to offer negotiation and finally to onboarding.
- Manage and drive operational excellence and process to drive
best practices for the team. Required Skills and Experience /
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree and proven and dynamic University Recruiting
experience; 4+ years of Campus recruiting experience; preferably
within a professional services firm or similar environment.
- 10+ years of experience working in talent acquisition
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills, including both
written and oral
- Demonstrated history of being a good communicator and a strong
leader
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Creativity in problem-solving and intellectual curiosity
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best
practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and
local employment laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as Applicant
Tracking Systems, preferably Oracle Recruiting
- Excellent project management skills Additional
Information:
- Occasional Travel is required. The base salary range for this
position in the firms San Jose, CA and San Francisco, CA offices is
