Creates the brand vision promise and personality ensuring a consistent and holistic message inside and outside Advocate Aurora Health to our team members patients and communities. Synthesizes category data and consumer research into fresh meaningful insights that lead to incremental business building ideas. Assists in the development design and execution of commercial strategies to optimize sales profitability and competitive position for the multiple brands portfolio.AccountabilitiesParticipates in development and execution of brand strategies including brand positioning communication strategies and brand guardrails as well as the development of creative briefs.Informs internal and external partners as required to ensure effective and efficient translation of brand strategies into activation plans.Assists with brand strategy to meet service line market and consumer targets and objectives.Brings a clear defensible POV to internal teams on which insights strategic options and potential solutions are the most compelling and why.Contributes to financial and marketing analyses assesses category performance and reviews/reports on financial status for total business focusing on key brands.Develops analyses to track competition and market growth; assesses messaging and positioning opportunities and threats for our brand.Monitors brand development/activity and acts on brand health measures and utilizes data to help understand the marketplace.Partners cross-functionally to ensure information sharing is timely.Establishes a strong relationship with team and ensures follow-up of cross functional responsibilities.Evaluates programs through designing research analyzing results and optimizing go forward programs.Contributes to assessment of existing owned brand portfolio and makes recommendations that optimize the assortment based on consumer data and trends.This position is part of a remote-first team. We're extremely flexible, and this role is largely remote, with occasional meetings on site in Downers Grove, IL.Education Required:Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.Experience Required:Typically requires 5 years of experience in marketing/brand/advertising across broad industries.
