POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager (HR Ops PM & CI) will be a key member of Dover's HR Operations team. Dover is on a journey to centralize and streamline HR Operations. It has also implemented SuccessFactors, ADP GlobalView, eTime and Salesforce as its collective HR Landscape. The objective of the role is to manage various HR Ops projects, drive continuous improvement, establish HR Ops Governance, organizational data requirements, and to support the design of Dover's future HR operating model. This person will take on a key role in the HR Operations implementation and support activities. As the Manager of HR Ops & CI, this position will be exposed to key HR systems including Salesforce, Success Factors and GlobalView and directly work on various HR Operations projects such as enhancements, interfaces, reporting, analytics, training and global system support. The scope and breadth of responsibilities will vary substantially based on timing and project workload. The responsibilities will vary from high level planning and strategizing to project managing various sub projects to directly engaging in triage of complex operational issues, system configuration, data loads etc. This role will be heavily involved in the design and project management of Dover's future HR Operating model. The Manager will be responsible for leading the HR Operations team's continuous improvement projects and initiatives. As a result, this role will offer a very wide and diverse exposure. Lastly, this person will also be tasked with being a liaison and issue resolution across various Dover functions beyond HR, such as IT, Legal, Compliance and Finance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Support the design and project management of Dover's HR operating model transformation
  • Support future state HR process mapping and work activity analysis
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within HR Operations and drive enterprise standardization
  • Establish HR Ops governance and manage HR ops project for key enterprise initiatives
  • Advise HR leaders on HR Operations Workforce Analytics best practices and KPI development
  • Significant involvement with system and HR Operations implementations through project management and participation in design, testing, and data conversion for core and add on modules
  • Work with functional and technical teams to provide system support and help triage urgent and complex system issues (Tier 2 support). This includes collaborating with and supporting the India AMS counterpart, who will head up the offshore support team.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Must possess a bachelor's degree or other four-year degree equivalent
    • Experience managing and supporting large scale HR Transformation projects and Continuous Improvement initiatives
    • Experience Implementing various HR system and HR Operations projects preferably in a manufacturing environment
    • Experience developing functional requirements and design of interfaces between HR systems and downstream applications including SAP Concur, benefits, and payroll
    • Experience with HR Operations Analytics & Workforce Planning
    • Ability to build reports and leading practice KPIs in SuccessFactors Reporting tools and Salesforce
    • Experience managing support activities and driving continuous improvement within HR Case Management, Knowledgebase and Employee Portal - Experience developing testing strategy plans and defect management processes through unit, systems integration, and user acceptance testing phases
    • Strong communication skills
    • Knowledge of HR Functions, Compensation, Recruiting, Performance / Talent Management, Workforce Analytics, Workforce Planning
    • Ability to work independently
    • Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time
