Job Description:
The Senior Director, Total Rewards will contribute towards the
development of Glanbia's Total Reward strategy and will be
responsible for delivering the strategy across the organization.
This includes all areas of Total Reward (Compensation, Benefits,
Wellbeing, Recognition and Retention), Total Reward Design, Job
Evaluation and Global Job Architecture. Role can be remote within
the US with flexibility to travel to Downers Grove, IL as
needed.
Primary accountabilities within this role will be to design, review
and implement together with the respective markets, total rewards
strategies, and solutions, building on best practices and
innovation in this area.
The role will directly manage two regional reward and benefits team
as well as have indirect responsibility for the Performance &
Reward service delivery team in the People Success Organization.
The role will also be responsible for the delivery of regulatory
and compliance requirements including Gender Pay Gap and CEO Pay
Ratio reporting.
Key Accountabilities
Work in collaboration with Center of Excellence Leads, Business
Unit HR and leadership to define the total rewards roadmap at both
Glanbia Group and regional level - encompassing compensation,
benefits, rewards, work life arrangements - including flexible
options offered to employees where appropriate, to ensure
relevance, sustainability, inclusion and diversity, and external
competitiveness.
Leading the annual reward & compensation cycle process including
principles, budget adherence, pool allocation, equitable review and
performance alignment, leader and employee communications, and
technology and data dependencies.
Regularly reviewing the broad-based compensation programs including
base salary, annual incentive, project-based incentives, and
long-term incentives. Leading and conducting pay equity analysis on
a regular basis, addressing gaps and ensuring equitable pay
practices and outcomes.
Evolving and aligning health, financial, security, and life event
benefits and programs to maintain competitiveness, handling costs,
supporting inclusion, and enhancing wellbeing.
Act as Total Rewards Subject Matter Expert by understanding our
Glanbia markets, the business and diverse employee segment needs,
monitoring and evaluating KPI's, providing the organization with
insights and data, and coming up with ideas and new ways of doing
things that test and stretch traditional thinking.
Lead the annual performance process and driving continuous
improvement in line with business objectives and evolving external
practices.
Stay apprised of market and legislation developments and trends to
craft solutions that reduce complexity, adapt to evolving
organizational changes, ensure the most effective return on
investment, and shape reality outside.
Partner with the People Success Organization team to ensure
operational excellence in delivery and continuous improvement of
Reward operational processes and systems.
Manage reward related elements of M&A projects as required.
Define and deploy the critical metrics that will be used to track
and monitor market trends, employee fulfilment and company cost
mapping, internal equity and external competitiveness, leveraging
analytics tools and support from the People Success Organization
where feasible.
Leverage external partners , as appropriate, to deliver agreed
Total Reward plans and activities. Vendor management of external
Total Reward partners.
Accountability for, and governance of, Glanbia's job architecture
framework , policies, processes and systems.
Qualifications & Prior experience -
Experience of leading a total rewards, compensation and benefits
team/function, in a large complex global company.
Strong working knowledge of North American and EU regulations
pertaining to compensation and benefits.
Experience with Performance Management
Proven ability to identify and solve complex total rewards issues
and deliver market-leading solutions.
