Home to the largest wine club in the world with over 500,000 members, Cooper's Hawk is a lifestyle brand centered around wine and focused on creating memorable moments that enrich lives.We are looking for a Sr Human Resources Manager who will help drive the business by providing HR support and guidance and by creating and implementing strategic HR initiatives in assigned restaurant regions, as well as at the Restaurant Support Center (RSC).Supports the strategic initiatives through consistent execution of Cooper's Hawks' HR practicesEvaluates opportunities in the business and creates and implements solutions to address in partnership with Operations and HRLead Talent Management and Succession Planning activities for assigned regions (i.e. yearly Talent Reviews, Monthly Succession and Workforce Planning meetings, measuring talent readiness)Partner with Senior Area Director to strategically support the development and management of the Managers and Team Members in their regionHelp identify performance standards and measure Team member performance and progressHandle Employee Relations investigation support for assigned regions and for the Restaurant Support Center; Provides support for and counsel to Business Partners; Consults with outside legal counsel, as necessary.Help drive Team Member engagement by identifying gaps in the business and solutions to address them (i.e. turnover/ team member engagement and retention; Community survey feedback)Provide support and guidance for Team Member performance managementPartner with Restaurant Support Center (RSC) Executives to support the success of their teamsManages and monitors compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and company policies and procedures by keeping current on laws and regulations related to general human resource practices and regulationsImplements action plans to improve performance and reduce instances of non-compliancePromotes and supports company policies, procedures, purpose, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.Works with Business Partners and Director of Total Rewards to ensure fair and consistent compensation practices occurPair with HR Partner to ensure objectives are met for all regionsExecute projects throughout the year as neededMust represent Cooper's Hawk valuesMinimum of 7 years of experience in Human Resources or related areaBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related fields; PHR or SPHR Certification preferred; MBA a plusRetail, hospitality and/or multi-unit, multi-state experience strongly preferredBilingual in Spanish and English a plusOutstanding ability to effectively partner with others, influence and gain buy-in while maintaining positive relationshipsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while delivering quality, detailed workImpeccable time management and project management skillsStrong ability to initiate and lead projects, execute against goals while meeting deadlinesAbility to understand, interpret, and apply appropriate provisions of applicable laws, ordinances, policies, rules, regulations, and memoranda of understandingAbility to develop a course of action that will achieve the objectives of opposing parties; exercise independent judgment; speak to groups; and establish and maintain working relationships with a variety of individuals and groupsClear and concise written and verbal communications; effective presenting and coaching management in small and large groupsAbility to handle sensitive information and exercise sound judgementStrong Microsoft Office suite skills including Word, Excel, PowerPointKey Competencies:Drive EngagementManage TalentPlans and AlignsManage AmbiguityCommunicate EffectivelyCollaborateInterpersonal SkillsManage ConflictDevelop OthersDrive ResultsDisciplined BehaviorCooper's Hawk is an Equal Opportunity Employer
