Supervision Received/Exercised: Reports to VP Sales and Business Development

Job Summary: The Director of Business Development will be responsible for growth of top line sales at established margins and assisting HFS in achieving corporate goals while building and maintaining positive customer relations with all assigned accounts. Job Duties: Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Directly manages assigned key account relationships and responsible for account growth and retention. Operate sales territory and assigned accounts within approved sales budget. Complete key account plans and new business development focus areas for area of responsibility. Conduct regular meetings and calls including business reviews with customer accounts. Ensure individual annual objectives are met according to plan. Maintain prospect pipeline and contribute to accurate forecasting. Develop, capture and share best practice sales tools, presentations, proposals process and policies throughout industry engagement (tradeshows, F4SS, IOPP, customer interactions). Collaborate with operations on quoting process execution -- ensure adherence to decision making criteria and process. Maintain and execute customer contracts and collaborating with legal. Participate in sales and customer process improvement teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Ensure effective and accurate use of the CRM system. Required Competencies & Knowledge: Knowledge of: Knowledge and experience with SAP Business Development and sales expertise Hearthside capabilities Skill in: Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Results driven. Strong will to drive change. Must be accurate, detail-oriented and maintain the utmost confidentiality. Must be detail oriented. Strong presentation skills Strong negotiation skills Problem solving Self-Starter Mentality Must have business acumen Ability to: Proven leadership availability is required. Must understand what is required to continuously improve customer relations and HFS's customer base. Needs to be most proficient in dealing with peers, subordinates, and people at all levels, both internally and externally, Must have the ability to prioritize and multitask diverse tasks and the ability to do so while performing such demanding tasks. Proficiency in: MS Office Suite, SAP Minimum Qualifications: College degree in business administration, sales and marketing, economics or similar preferred. 5 -- 7 years in a similar environment and at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
