Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree in a technical field,
or equivalent practical experience. Licensed/Chartered Professional
Engineer or similar. 5 years of experience in program management.
Experience in managing relationships and leading mission critical
power infrastructure projects. Experience with electrical
engineering, utility agreements, electrical interconnect systems
and electrical infrastructure systems. Preferred qualifications:
Certification in sustainable infrastructure, or similar. 5 years of
experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Experience with high voltage power system development for
hyperscale data centers. Understanding of the intersection of
utility procurement and related infrastructure capacity solutions.
Ability to develop data-driven technical insights and translate
into executable commercial solutions for the business at large.

technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects

and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the
technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a
Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for the
successful delivery of complex utility infrastructure projects
across our North and South American portfolio. You will work
closely with a worldwide network of stakeholders to ensure that all
key players are coordinated on roles, responsibilities, and
deadlines. You will also be responsible for developing and
implementing project plans, tracking progress, and communicating
status updates to stakeholders. You will lead power utility
infrastructure programs that build and maintain pipeline of
capacity for our data center fleet. You will be responsible for
campus specific delivery of the following scope items from
preliminary due-diligence through operation: power infrastructure
techno-commercial strategy, technical project delivery strategy,
continual cost and schedule optimization against campus specific
demand, utility technical relationship management, power systems
permitting coordination with compliance teams, advanced utility
project execution including feasibility, design, and construction,
internal metro and campus level coordination, management of owners
program manager (OPM) vendor scope. The Data Center team designs
and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC
systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented
group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful
data centers. The US base salary range for this full-time position
is $156,000-$229,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

bonus, equity, or benefits. Responsibilities Collaborate with team
members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work
problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and
discuss program impact. Prioritize program goals, understand and
translate other stakeholders needs into program goals and
deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions
on emphasizing goals and deliverables. Define the scope of projects
and develop, execute or manage project plans for supported
programs. Support Google Data Centers campus development in
collaboration with North and South America regional delivery teams
as the technical lead during commercial negotiations of data center
power utility supply. Serve as a power utility infrastructure lead
for development during the due-diligence and design stages of
project development.
