client is seeking a talented Engineer with a background in
machining operations to join their high-performing team - come work
for a leader in the aerospace/defense space! Client Details My
client is a privately held, global manufacturer of some of the most
cutting edge components for the aerospace and defense industry.
They work with some of the top names in the sector including
SpaceX, Blue Origin, and more, and they are looking to add to their
Engineering group as they expand! Apply today to be considered for
a unique opportunity with a great company! Description Manage the
machining process, including selecting/designing workholding, CAM
programming, and simulation. Collaborate with quality control (QC)
teams to ensure proper inspection processes are in place. Provide
technical support to shop floor personnel during part launches and
throughout the production process. Implement LEAN methodologies to
drive cost savings & efficiency improvements Work in SolidWorks/CAD
software for design of custom tooling/fixtures Profile Proficiency
with Mastercam for 5-axis milling. Experience designing complex
workholding solutions for challenging parts. Strong knowledge of
modern cutting tool and toolholding systems. Proficient in reading
Blueprints and applying GD&T. Experience working with hard
metals. Strong mathematical skills. Vericut experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Solidworks or other equivalent CAD software is a
plus. Mill/Turn experience is a plus. A proven track record
demonstrating the required skills and experience is highly
preferred. Job Offer Base salary $100,000 - $115,000 based on level
of experience Annual cash bonus incentive based on company
performance 3 Weeks PTO 2 floating holidays 6% 401k match
