Share Print Cloud Engineer (Terraform Cloud) Primary Location: Downers Grove, Illinois V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Cloud Engineer (Terraform Cloud) for our premier client in Downers Grove, Illinois. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in network engineering, preferably in a cloud environment. Experience with GCP or AWS networking and security services. Experience with network virtualization technologies such as VMware NSX or Cisco ACI. Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV). Experience with network automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Job Responsibilities: Design, implement and manage network infrastructure in our cloud environments. Design and implement network security policies and procedures. Configure and manage virtual networks, subnets and security groups. Implement and manage load balancers and traffic routing. Implement and manage VPN connections between on-premise and cloud environments. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner. Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure application and infrastructure security. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support. Interested?
