is available at"."At its core, this position will be responsible to
lead a team to develop and improves manufacturing processes by
studying product and manufacturing methods under the 0Dover lean
manufacturing methodology.This role transcends applying operations
improvement tools, assembly line design and implementations,
fixtures, poka-yokes, tool making and supplier management under the
scope of manufacturing process design.This role will partner with
other business units like production, manufacturing engineering,
tool rooms, maintenance and new product development.This role will
develop, in partnership with the sourcing organization, a solid
supply base to support fixtures, assembly lines design and smart
automation.This position will be measured by the successful
deployment of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing principles
and use of Advanced Statistical Tools throughout the organization
to turnaround and/or enhance Operational and Financial Performance
at designated facilities.This position will also be responsible for
driving Transformational Processes through the diligent use of
Operational Excellence Tools and Methodologies.This position
requires a minimum of 75% travel.Key Responsibilities, Knowledge
and Experience:Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and
conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design,
fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with
equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.Develops
manufacturing processes by studying product requirements;
researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing
methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.Review and
calculate labor, material and other production costs along with
reviewing schedules and future production requirements to assist
management in decision makingImproves manufacturing efficiency by
analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment
layout.Assures product and process quality by designing testing
methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities;
establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.Provides
manufacturing decision-making information by calculating
production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production
schedules; estimating future requirements.Prepares product and
process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing
information and trends. .Provides manufacturing engineering
information by answering questions and requests.Maintains product
and company reputation by complying with government
regulations.Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance
and repair services; following manufacturer''s instructions and
established procedures; requesting special service.Maintains
product and process data base by writing computer programs;
entering pletes design and development projects by training and
guiding technicians.Maintains professional and technical knowledge
by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional
publications; establishing personal networks; participating in
professional societies.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing
related results as needed.Skills and Experience Required:Dealing
with Complexity, Informing Others, Leadership, Supervision,
Hardware Specifications, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures,
Manufacturing Quality, Product Development, Presenting Technical
Information, CAD, CAD/CAM.Ability to combine initiative, integrity
and professional discipline to accomplish difficult tasks in a

organization.Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills.Ability to make significant improvements in unstructured
manufacturing environments.Ability to engage with numerous plants
to direct, train and project manage all aspects of manufacturing
engineering.Ability to do effective Problem Solving - able to
define ''Problem Statement'', engage, motivate and improve
Operations across Manufacturing.Experience in Value Stream /
Process Mapping: Current, Future and Ideal states.Subject Matter
Expert in many of the Operational Excellence Standards.Experience
in Fabrication, Machining and Assembly.Superior organization,
time-management and prioritization. Demonstrated Project Management
skills and ability to lead multiple projects
simultaneously.Candidate Qualifications10 -15 years of progressive
leadership experience including Plant Management and / or
Operational Excellence roles in global organizations and multi-site
environments.Bachelor''s degree in Engineering or equivalent
experience with a strong technical affinity.Lean Manufacturing
Certification desired.Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
desired.Proficient in MS Office.Demonstrated record of achievement
in driving change management across multi-site operation.Advanced
MS Office, video conferencing, and website management
skillsAdvanced CAD, CAD/CAM or similar.All qualified applicants
