Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist position is available to provide essential
therapeutic support in an elementary school setting located in
Rockford, IL. This contract role runs for the full school year and
offers flexibility in scheduling to align with school hours from
8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role allows for selecting an age group
focuswhether early childhood, elementary exclusively, or a mixed
K-8 student caseload. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver speech and
language services to a caseload of 35-40 students across resource,
general education, and self-contained classrooms. - Customize
therapy approaches to student needs within the elementary school
environment. - Collaborate with educators and school staff to
support student communication goals. - Maintain compliance with
appropriate educational and clinical standards. - Participate in
supervision sessions if a Clinical Fellow (CF). Qualifications and
Experience: - Current Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in
Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for Professional Educator
License (PEL) for schools; CFY candidates welcome. - Prior
experience in school-based or pediatric speech-language pathology
preferred. - Ability to manage diverse caseloads in educational
settings. - Strong interpersonal skills and professional
accountability. - Availability to start as soon as possible and
commit to the full school year ending May 21, 2026. Benefits
