We are currently looking for an Education Program Managerto join us
in our mission to save lives and prevent injuries.
Position Highlights:
The Education Program Manager is responsible for designing and
implementing high-impact educational initiatives that serve NSC's
most committed members. This role requires expertise in educational
event planning, stakeholder engagement, and program management,
with a strong emphasis on building strategic relationships and
fostering collaboration. This position involves working closely
with internal and external executives, internal Networks Leaders,
and committed, skilled volunteers.
What You'll Do:Project Management:
Define the main objectives of the
projects, their purpose, and the scope.Create integrated and
ongoing project plans to include key deliverables and milestones,
and the tasks required to complete each.Execute the work or assign
work as part of the plan.Monitor and control the processes/tasks
associated with the project.Additional Responsibilities: Serve as
primary contact for speakers.Work with skilled volunteers to shape
program content and delivery methods. Engage in regular
communication with and build relationships in all directions (e.g.,
peers, supervisors, funders, stakeholders) to advance the
effectiveness of the program.Support speaker identification,
onboarding, and coordination for educational offerings.Support and
encourage programs that incorporate the diversity of stakeholders'
learning styles and perspectives, add interest and are appropriate
for people of different levels. Build and keep strong, trust-based
relationships with a mix of people at different professional
levels, including educators, nonprofit partners, donors,
executives, and experts. Serve as a strategic partner to executives
and senior leaders, ensuring programs are aligned with
organizational priorities and stakeholder needs.Work
cross-functionally with communications, development, and operations
teams to ensure cohesive messaging, funding alignment, and
logistical support.Implement feedback loops with partners and
participants to assess impact and guide continuous
improvement.Contribute to reporting, storytelling, and knowledge
sharing that highlight the outcomes of relationship-centered
educational initiatives.We're Looking for Someone with:
Bachelor's degree and at least 4
years of relevant experience. In lieu of education, at least 6
years of relevant experience.5+ years of experience in education
program development, nonprofit management or stakeholder
engagement. High level skilled volunteer management a
plus.Demonstrated ability to build and sustain professional
relationships with a wide range of individuals and
organizations.Proven track record of working with executives and
high-level partners to advance shared goals.Strong written and
verbal communication skillsAble to convey complex ideas clearly and
build consensus.Fluency in English required; Spanish or Portuguese
preferred.Comfortable using digital collaboration tools, such as
Box, Teams, and Smartsheet. Salesforce experience a plus.This is a
