Position Title: Shipping Clerk Wage: $18.00 - $20.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2:00pm - 12:30am (Monday - Thursday) Reached a dead end at your current job? This is a potential to hire position for 2nd shift. Apply today! Shipping Clerk Responsibilities: - Verifies within job ticket that correct quantities are produced - Ensures all documentation is accurate, ASN’s are sent to applicable clients and that all products are accounted for accurately - Scans skids, builds truckloads, and confirms all information on packing slip is accurate - Understands and follows process for EDDM orders and the post office report - Utilizes system reports to complete Bill of Lading, Packing List and ensure all jobs are accounted for - Sorts, wraps and labels all skids and/or cartons using information from the job ticket and the system to complete the job - Understands and follows procedure for processing and shipping customer samples - Informs management of needs, problems and errors - Maintains and utilizes knowledge of UPS system and processes UPS orders - Ensures leads/supervisors receive proper communication of daily shipping information - Verifies weight of completed jobs - Organizes the work areas to maintain a safe and clean environment - Fulfills paper requests from press department accurately and in a timely manner - Operates forklifts and clamp trucks in a safe manner Requirements for Shipping Clerk: - Knowledge of good departmental and company safety/housekeeping/PPE practices - Knowledge of terminology, job flow, job tickets and compliance with quality standards for the press area - Strong mechanical aptitude - Basic math skills - Basic computer knowledge janesvilleresumes@qpsemployment.com IND028 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
