Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role requires a highly organized and
detail-oriented individual who can contribute to financial
operations and reporting with precision and accuracy. The ideal
candidate will have strong analytical skills and a solid background
in accounting practices. Responsibilities: • Assist in the
preparation of annual budgets and forecasting to support
organizational goals. • Conduct thorough audit preparation,
ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial data. • Manage
month-end close processes, including journal entries and general
ledger maintenance. • Perform account reconciliations to maintain
accurate financial records. • Handle bank reconciliations and
resolve discrepancies promptly. • Maintain robust internal controls
to uphold high standards in financial operations. • Utilize
Acumatica software for accounting tasks and reporting, if
applicable. • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide
insights for decision-making. • Collaborate with team members to
ensure seamless financial processes and reporting. • Support the
team during audits and budgeting cycles, ensuring deadlines are
met.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • 3-7 years of
detail-oriented experience in accounting roles. • Proficiency in
month-end close, general ledger, and journal entries. • Strong
skills in account and bank reconciliations. • Advanced knowledge of
Microsoft Excel for financial analysis. • Exceptional attention to
detail and accuracy in all accounting tasks. • Analytical mindset
with the ability to interpret complex financial data. • Familiarity
with Acumatica software is highly preferred.
