Job Description:

As the Controller, you will partner with the VP of Finance & CFO and other executive leaders to oversee the financial management of two manufacturing facilities. You will take full ownership over the financials of both facilities as well as handle all Accounting close processes to ensure accuracy, compliance and meet company goals for growth. This position is an instrumental part in helping the company grow to be a market leader in the CPG space here in the Chicagoland area. Client Details I'm partnered with the CFO at a multi-million dollar leading CPG company. Our client is experiencing immense company growth and operational expansion through key strategic initiatives. Due to this growth, they are now looking to find a Controller to join their team near Tinley Park, IL to take ownership over the FP&A, month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other daily accounting functions. Description Controller Responsibilities: Coordinate month-end and year-end closing procedures and perform necessary accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls. Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings. Monitor cash flow, including cash inflows and outflows, and manage working capital. Make recommendations for cash flow optimization and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions. Oversee the general ledger and ensure proper classification and coding of financial transactions.
