Job Description:

The Audit Senior is responsible for assessing the effectiveness of processes and internal controls in alignment with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements. They apply audit expertise to conduct SOX compliance, assurance, or advisory engagements aimed at strengthening the company's control environment. Client Details Client is a public retailer looking to expand to its Internal Audit Function Description Conducting SOX, operational, and compliance testing procedures Preparing well-documented evidence to support audit conclusions in line with internal audit standards Managing and prioritizing multiple assignments, including audits and project-related tasks Working collaboratively with fellow Internal Audit team members Assisting with risk advisory initiatives across both technology and business areas Independently coordinating and partnering with cross-functional teams throughout the organization Profile A bachelor's degree in accounting CPA certification (completed or in progress) 2-3 years of combined experience in public accounting (external audit or risk/advisory) and industry Additionally, you are proficient in tools and methodologies used in Internal Audit, including: Knowledge of COSO and internal control frameworks Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Job Offer Competitive Base Salary Bonus Potential Work-from-home flexibility Only required to be in office 6 days a month Strong team culture MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
