Overview of the Senior Accountant role: • Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. • Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. • Work closely with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation. • Identify process improvements and implement best practices in financial reporting. Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant role: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or lead role. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
